Pantuner, Inc. is a company in Akron, OH that makes and sells Steelpans.
The company is owned and run by Steve Lawrie. Steve has been involved in the Pan world since the early 1980’s, when he got involved in playing in the Andrew Tracey Steelband, in Grahamstown, South Africa. Steve made his first pan, together with his father Mike Lawrie, in 1982.

The Pan Jumbie bit hard, and since then Steve has traveled globally and is highly sought after both as a builder and a tuner. He was responsible for starting the flourishing steelpan movement in South Africa. In 1993/94 he spent 6 months in Trinidad, and performed with the (then) Amoco Renegades.
Steve holds a Private Pilots License, and in his spare time builds radio control planes.
