Heritage Series pans are built on 23.25" diameter barrels. These are slightly bigger than the traditional 22.5" barrels in common use; this allows us to create notes that are closer to optimal sizes, resulting a uniform tone across each instrument.
Performance Series pans are built on 24.5" barrels using 16 gauge steel for the heads (instead of the traditional 18 gauge steel). These pans are workhorses for professionals.
We have lead the field in offering custom finishes on our pans, whether its the two-tone chrome look, our new reverse-two-tone chrome look, chameleon paint + chrome looks, decorative etching on our skirts, or...whatever you can imagine!
We have also built instruments to match older, traditional layouts, such as those built by Cliff Alexis or Ellie Mannette.
